Lemmy sucks.
Yes but one fear is that eventually directors will go without the studio altogether, no?
My only fear is that I think this will make theatrical distribution harder. Give your movie to Lionsgate and they will use your connections to get your movie in the vast majority of theaters. Can one producer or even a team he hires compete with that type of network?
I love going to the movies but I’m sorry, I’m not driving 300 miles just to watch a movie before it hits streaming, even if I really like the director.
I have no idea what this is going to be about and I’m so ready for it
Oh come on lol
I learned last month that the whole thing was over her house lol
Reading the article it seems like they’re just using a mint condition film reel they’ve been waiting to arrive for awhile
I’m noticing that, at least in AMC through Fathom Events, they’ve been showing one Star Wars movie per year. Tickets for Star Wars Episode III are on sale now, so I wonder if next year this will hit the States.
I also wonder how this will compare to existing fan restorations that are available online, and if they’ll release some sort of special edition 4K Blu-Ray or something with this on it.
Is he really?
I saw this in theaters, it was great! Wouldn’t mind rewatching it at some point.
I liked it, but they didn’t utilize her that well from what I remember. Would love to see her back in the role but I’d get why they wouldn’t.
(On another note I secretly suspect there are MANY actors and actresses who won’t be in Doomsday but will be in Secret Wars…)
It’d be kinda interesting to experience something in ScreenX NGL. I haven’t been particularly impressed by Dolby Cinema though. My eyes aren’t great at picking out the benefits of higher dynamic range, and I don’t care about sound as much (the last movie I saw in Dolby, Black Bag, really didn’t do much with it, I was just impressed by the demo pre-roll). At least with IMAX I know I will get the biggest screen, and perhaps an expanded view.
But with this sale it’s already made them more money than shelving it would have
If anything it should tell execs “hey guys we can sell our garbage for a profit”
I love superhero movies when they’re not horrible, and love the MCU and multiverse as concepts at the very least.
I think my favorite has gotta be Birds Of Prey. Bad movie, and kinda woke, but I had a blast with it and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Second favorite would have to be Love Hurts. It sucks but somehow really works for me.
