What character is that, this is confusing me.
Film buff (action, mystery, thrillers, sci-fi) with a soft spot for the macabre artistry of Terrifier, IT, and early SAW. Classic rock & heavy metal devotee, headphones always on. Audiophile at heart (Hifiman Arya, Sennheiser 650/600, Focal Clear MG). Here for adrenaline, riffs, and the occasional well-made scare.

I like weird shit, I just want a good story.
Exactly how I feel. I don’t mind the ninjas, it’s weird and surprised me.
I really like Nicholas Hoult, just not as Lex. He just looks so innocent and it felt like he was trying too hard to be mean.

On Wednesday, Jensen Huang, Nvidia’s chief executive, met with President Trump at the White House and agreed to give the federal government its 15 percent cut, essentially making the federal government a partner in Nvidia’s business in China, said the people familiar with the deal. The Commerce Department began granting licenses for A.I. chip sales two days later, these people said.
Sounds very unusual, so Nvidia is giving a kickback to the White House? No matter how I look at it, I can’t see how this isn’t a conflict of interest. I’m quite certain that someone will say the 15% kickback will be used in R&D etc to stay ahead the competitors but where do you draw the line between revenues and national interest?
I have a very short attention span unfortunately, if I get bored after 10 minutes I move on to another. It’s not uncommon for me to watch a movie in 2 sittings due to time, work, gym etc. Weekends if I’m not gaming then I’ll be able to watch a few movies in 1 go.
I really like Foxx, Leguizamo and De Niro, that’s the only reason why I finished it. The same reason why I watched Armor and Alarum “starring” Stallone, but compared to these 2, Tin Soldier is perhaps a bit better lol, surprisingly I actually watched both these movies in 1 sitting.
Thanks for the comment!
Just like any book, you can walk away from a shite movie, too.
Hahah, you’re right, I probably should have walked away from this but I really like De Niro… still don’t know why I punished myself but oh well.
Also, OP, with respect: De Niro is a personal metric for quality? Ya lost me. AFAICT, De Niro hasn’t been a reliable performer for a long time, (sighs in The Irishman) … but I’m genuinely curious about your take on that.
The last few movies (Killers of the Flower Moon, Father of the Bride, Part 3) and TV shows (Zero Day, The Wizard of Lies) I watched, I really enjoyed. I actually liked the Irishman! I really do enjoy a good script and good actors, but it’s debatable what appeals to me might not necessarily appeal to another person. Are the recent content as good as say Casino, Taxi Driver, Heat etc… I don’t think so.
Still no lossless?
Yesssssss. Jurassic Star Wars VIII!! Sith Raptors and Jedi Allosaurus.

Decided to watch Jurassic World Rebirth and I’m struggling to finish it.
Have my upvote as I do enjoy reading other people’s perspective.
Wait, TV or penis? Jk!
I have a 65 and I’m thinking of getting a 75 or into the 80’s.

Ah fuck… I’m going to watch this later… I’m in for a great time it seems.
Absolutely, “I promised them women”, that hit me hard.
Had the same feeling. Every time I thought he was dead he pops up again out of nowhere. I don’t know I’m hallucinating but did they try to humanize him a little bit? Like there were parts I felt like he knew those were his kids.
Tough question. There are parts of the second one which is really good, subjective of course, but everyone I’ve spoken to agree the first 10 minutes is really good (was directed by Boyle).
To me the story is not connected, but still worth a watch.
No apologies needed, I absolutely agree with you, loved the first 10 minutes, middle was a bit meh for me, then the subway scene was really good to me too. I actually asked my wife if I did that what would she do, she said definitely not a kiss lol.
The zombie “titties” and naked women are there too, absolutely, but there’s something uniquely ludicrous about the film’s focus on swinging, sprinting masculinity, a kind of visual punchline to apocalypse. And we don’t see this in movies very often. I actually thought the Alpha was Jason Mamoa for some reason, had to pause to Google it as I was pretty sure he wasn’t in this movie.
Thank you!
