Lemmy is no different than any other Internet traffic. There is always a way to expose a person’s public facing IP. Sometimes it takes more effort. Lemmy Just happens to be one of the most insecure places on the Internet

Yawn. There are lots and lots of ways to expose a public facing IP address. My point is people should be using a VPN for this purpose. You’re on the iCloud relay. Good! No one considers that a “privacy” solution but realistically not everyone needs a logless VPN for random internet traffic.

In the movie Demolition Man, staring Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes, Taco Bell won the “franchise wars” and every restaurant was now Taco Bell.
