Hate to say it but it honestly doesn’t sound crazy hard to just block any instance that pops up. Yes it’s whack a mole but if it’s an automated script, it can just crawl through a backdoor instance and ban any domain it sees.

Streaming is unfortunately a pretty weak hole in my Degoogling adventure. There’s really no perfect solution.

CCwGTV … what I have. But it’s no longer supported, pretty slow. Launcher is bloaty af by default but I use a custom one. And of course… it’s Google. I can side load for now but that’s going away soon so I need an alternative.

Shield. I also have one but take all the above issues and add that it’s a bit faster.

Apple TV. No side loading. Jellyfin support is janky still. Fastest and most elegant though.

Fire TV. Fuck Amazon.

I’d love some small Linux mini PC I can just build myself.
