Went to see it last night. Cinema had about 30 people in it, mostly young people (15-25)… I didn’t hear one audible laugh the whole movie, maybe a couple of chuckles. After the movie, most people leaving were saying how awesome it was… I spent most of the movie hoping my recliner would malfunction and crush me to death
While Netflix continues to spew out so much hot garbage, cinemas will do ok… it is just my opinion of course, but the last few times I went to the cinema, there were more people than I expected. The problem that cinemas have is they are too expensive and people are struggling to get on top of all the things that are suddenly more expensive
If they want to commit to ruining it, they could get Kathleen Kennedy

I thought it was pretty good… so weird and fresh. Solid 7.5/10 and definitely one I am glad I saw on the big screen
My take from the article is that there is no future for a kid wanting to become a developer. He said that work for junior devs hardly exists, so I guess if there won’t be junior devs, then the current batch of senior devs will eventually disappear with no junior devs to replace them.
I don’t think the last Mission Impossible movie even made its money back… maybe they should stop humping the AI bandwagon.
