To be fair, the progression estimate loading bar for fusion was stuck at “estimate… 30 years” for fucking ages.
And now there are actual reactors. Experimental, but still.
“With the completion of the conceptual design phase, the project will now shift to engineering design, accelerated engineering R&D, and will proceed with site selection, site preparation, regulatory approvals, and the procurement of long-lead items, with the aim of construction after 2028,” it said.

We are forced to drive next to these death machines and the corporations that own them take zero accountability and just bribe the president for more welfare and to not ever investigate them.
Who could’ve seen this coming?

Yeah me neither. I’ve heard claims that automation will take away jobs from drivers in the future, but not anyone actually saying “it’s undeniable that by 2025 most cars will be driving entirely by themselves”. And I remember when GPS was a spy-gadget daydream you imagined having when using maps. (Actual, physical maps. Not Google/Apple Maps.)

Eh I’ve watched the HP movies quite a lot, can’t remember Hermione having a line like that.
But I do remember seeing a ton of “Love and Marriage” reruns in the late 90’s early 00’s.
I’m a millenial as well.
Also, Modern Family has been on for a long time now.
And those aren’t the only shows Al Bundy has done

This means that there is a wrong way to fold the phone, but the phone has automatic vibrating and visual alerts to keep you from doing that

ALL COPS ARE BASTARDS

Not unless you’re a scrub who can’t control their own thoughts. Yes, even the preconscious ones.

“Well the metric version is”
Oh, so you’re just reconfirming you don’t speak English. Ok. Best of luck, we can try again in a few years. I can link you some Simple English channels if you’d like?

And you’re wrong.
Just because some niche unit uses metric prefixes doesn’t mean that that unit is “in the metric system” as language is used.
Learn to use language pls.
Weird how when you open that “metric system” link your pedantry is nowhere to be seen, almost as if by and large “metric” refers to the SI-system, isn’t it? Oh I’m sorry, you can’t answer that with “yes”, because it would mean that you stop pretending like you don’t know what I mean, which you simply can’t do.

Lol, you’re the one who’s arguing youre right, despite me clearly stressing that I know that if we’re superanal pedants you could technically make the argument that “metric system” can also refer to non-SI units which use decimal prefixes.
That a lone doesn’t mean you we’re right. See that “metric system” link there? Give it a click, would you, and then rethink on who’s being pedantic.
You haven’t told me anything interesting. I’m well aware of things like the attempt of France to change the time to powers a decimal system as well. They didn’t. Time is still in SI-units and that system is colloquially known as THE METRIC SYSTEM.
Like I said, you’re not exactly wrong, per se. (But you definitely are now, being such an annoying pedant while ignoring the very simple points I made.)

So you’re just gonna ignore everything that’s not inline with what you’re saying? Yawn. Perhaps try rereading my comments.

Automakers using a unit doesn’t make it metric.

Colloquially “metric” means the SI-system though. It’s not all prescriptively correct terms. Hell, even the name isn’t, as the French and English couldn’t
So I’m not goanna say your wrong per se. But you’re not exactly right either

What are you on about? The metric unit for power is the Watt

As a third generation professional taxi driver; bull-fucking-shit.
I mean, it’s coming at some point, but their plan here is like the an ad executives version of reality. It’s not gonna match anytime soon.
