NewPipe has been there for a long while, with the ability to watch Peertube videos.

Yes. It’s not common for Americans to come to China, but many in other parts of the world do. Currently living in Russia, I personally know a few folks, primarily from IT sector, moving there for new opportunities.

For example, knowing Tumblr audience and current rules, many will rush for uncensored NSFW content, and Fedi’s got plenty of that.

Tumblr is generally cute, and while we should be on the watch still, I think it could enrich the Fediverse community.
It federates very well with Masto, it’s just that the latter focuses on text and Pixelfed on pictures.
In fact, most of my Pixelfed feed comes from Mastodon.
