Maybe it’d interesting to ask them about enabling either/both functions?

They’re already part of the fediverse to some extent through Bluesky, so it doesn’t seem too far fetched for them to be more open about implementing such functions. And with the leadership change, maybe even doing something in a timely manner would be in the realm of possibility.

Probably will make a post myself which I’ll be linking here.

    Bluesky

Bluesky or Mastodon? IIRC Bluesky is not part of anything, it’s a Twitter alternative. And adding comments would waste their time with moderation.

Bluesky. Though not natively compatible, there are ways to connect protocols.

About moderation, if the company sees as interesting such an idea, they’d have to ensure moderation is capable of handling there too. And as I added as an edit to the linked post, it could help game-specific forums be more lively.

Directly, not compatible indeed. But there are bridging solutions, the ones I know being the Bridgy Fed bot, and the native connecting functions from Wafrn and Friendica.
