I’m going to say they gave fucking permission when the owner of X did nothing but consistently tell every one who would listen this is what X and Grok will be used for. I’m getting fucking sick and tired of people acting fucking stupid over this. This “oh well elon can’t technically fuck me over because [assumptions based on the dead old world] must still be true.” Is going to be deserved for the lack of paying the fuck attention to all that is happening around you.

From one independent professional artist to any bitch of an artist still on X: fuck you for being on X. I hope he steals everything from you. Well deserved for being so fucking greedy you stayed on a Nazi platform. Next time maybe you’ll learn politics affects us all whether you pretend you’re immune to it or not. Can’t express enough how much you deserve your work stolen from you.

Data shows it’s working. Maybe not enough to bring Twitter down right now but hopefully it can die a death of a thousand cuts.

https://bskycheck.com/stats.php. Bluesky was averaging roughly 20000 new users per day. Now we see over 56000 new users on December 23 and over 89000 on December 24.

I’ve been seeing some people say the only reason they’re on Twitter is because they follow some artists who are only on Twitter.

The thing to keep in mind is that not everyone is as informed as we are about Twitter’s Nazi problem. Some people may just follow their favorite artists and celebrities and drown out all the political stuff and not realize that by using Twitter they are helping enrich and sustain a person and a platform that radicalize people and spread Nazi propaganda.

Get ready for the post-reality Internet. You think deepfake porn is bad? Wait until entire voting blocs are swayed by what AI trash their side puts out during that election cycle. They’ll even be aware that it’s AI fakery and they won’t even care. It’s already begun.

This is already happening. I couldn’t stomach watching such slop, but immediately following the Bondi shooting and Ahmed al Ahmed was shown tackling the shooter, videos were circulating that replaced Ahmed with a middle aged white man, presumably because the correct footage flew in the face of the far right agenda of Australia having a Muslim problem.

We need aggressive action against this. Urge every politician you can to make media literacy taught in school. Students must learn how to identify disinformation and propaganda.

I dont know. Maybe its not fixable. Maybe democracy as we know it cant withstand contact with social media and AI any more than absolute monarchy could survive the printing press. Maybe it will get better on its own, as kids growing up with AI start to spot it the way people today spot CGI.

Who knows what the next generation of ai models may bring?

If language learning models really are a dead end then maybe the next big leap forward will bring with it positive change. Maybe not.

Definitely not new, but the delivery of it has changed a lot, making it increasingly harder to identify as propaganda.

There will be so many pictures of Xelon with a dildo in his mouth. Nazi dildos even, while dressed as an anime girl.

Another day, another xitter red line, but they’ll be back on it in 2 weeks.

Still waiting for twitter users to get principles and a backbone.

Can someone explain why? X is a platform filled with bots. It’s entirely fake. There’s no reason to be on there at all.

Perhaps some people, such as artists, think that more people will be able to notice them there as before, and the rest are likely to be inexperienced or those who don’t care.

That’s something that sounds nice in theory but it makes no sense. You’d need to have draconian DRM to make it work.

This is about artists posting their artwork so I’m not sure where else they’d be expected to post it?

Edit: instead of the internet I mean, not instead of Twitter because I dont know why anyone is still on that platform
