Agreed. The last Bond film put a pin in the character. Unless they want to go the route of “James Bond is a title, not a person” there’s no path forward.

The original “Casino Royale” was a comedy so they could get away with it again.

Yeah, the very first adaptation was for television in the 50s.
At this point, why not Uwe Boll? Now that Amazon bought the rights, it really doesn’t matter anymore.
